The timing belt was replaced at 70K miles, and the car runs great. All maintenance has been performed on time and recorded meticulously since purchased new in ´87 (records included). It has a red exterior and a special edition navy blue leather interior. The seats are etched with ´Porsche´ in them, and were a very rare option from the factory. Also, the sound system was upgraded in March 2011 (new tuner, stereo, and bass) with an ipod connection and a USB port (roughly $1000). The tires only have about 3K miles on them (Bridgestone Potenzas), and come with an extra set of new snow tires and wheels. I am selling the car because I am getting married and need a larger family vehicle. This car has plenty of power and torque, even at 6000 feet elevation.Options include Rear A/C, Rub Strips, Sun Roof, and Limited Slip Differential. Short hub steering wheel. I am also including, new in boxes, a set of Bilstien shocks and 929 International Eibach springs.Good condition and suitable for a daily driver. Nice interior and a good dash and pod. Some wear on driver´s seat bolster, but not bad and could be dyed if desired. Paint is decent, but would benefit from a polishing. Black custom Lloyd mats are about a year old.Brand new rear tires and good front tires.Ford motor mounts installed about a year ago.Steel lower ball joints.New shifter bushings, including bronze rear bushings.A/C converted to R134a and blows cold. Recently replaced compressor (remanufactured unit remanufactured by Nippon Denso); new receiver/drier installed during conversion, along with new expansion valves and O-rings throughout.21K miles on timing belt and clutch.Has proper undertrays. No leaks anywhere. Everything, but one item, works... even the intensive washing system (second washer pump and tank for windshield washers). The exception is the driver´s side mirror memory - the mirror itself can be positioned using the joystick, but doesn´t reposition itself correctly from memory. Passenger side mirror memory does work, as does the driver´s seat. The issue appears to be in the mirror or its wiring; mirror memory module is known to be good.Nice aftermarket stereo (Infinity Basslink II sub, custom door speakers, upgraded amp in place of stock amp under side cover).Keyless entry system including hatch release.Please contact me if you have any questions, or would like more or bigger pictures, or to arrange to see/drive the car.Included with the car are two binders worth of service history, going all the way back to when the car was new.The previous owner had the power steering hoses and reservoir changed just before I picked it up, and was the one that installed the steel ball joints. He also had new valve cover gaskets installed. It came with a nice set of Nology Hot Wires ignition wires on it, so nothing to do there.Other little things I´ve done on it since:Left door window guides and outer window ledge seal.Repaired a broken wire for the window motor.Replaced a bad plug for the PS headlight.Right side door support (the thing that keeps the door half-way open).Replaced heater control valve with a metal one.Replaced bad comb flap actuator bladder.Replaced chipped cabin temp sensor.Replaced some missing tools from the tool kit (kit is now complete)Replaced oil pressure sender (was pegged at 5, now reads correctly)Replaced pump for intensive washing system (new pump made in Switzerland!)Had a new clutch slave cylinder installed along with new ATE high temp fluid for clutch and brake circuits (this was pretty recent).Replaced the rear A/C vents and the H shaped trim around the radio that´s always cracked in older cars.All the A/C work to restore the system and convert it. (Also included a new clutch relay in the A/C head unit)Cleaned out the front A/C evaporator.Replaced all the shift bushings.Red Line oil in the tranny.It didn´t have the under tray when I got it, so installing a new Porsche one and the hardware for it was part of the work I did when doing the motor mounts.Of course there were the standard oil and filter changes, having the timing belt checked, and all the little things that went along with installing the supercharger (new plugs, new 42lb/hr injectors, fresh coolant....). Really, it doesn´t need anything, except a bit of work on that mirror, if you want the memory to work.Oh, and it comes with two S keys and two keyless entry fobs. I´m technically both the 3rd and 5th owner (for a while I sold this car to my brother back when I first moved here and couldn´t get it to pass emissions. I bought it back from him when El Paso county stopped requiring emission testing).The good:- Runs well- Lots of fun to drive (handles great)- looks way cool :)The bad:- Has a bit of the usual rust (biggest spot can be seen in the photo, but there´s also small spots above and behind both the exterior door handles)- difficult to start when cold (typical of a carb converted 914)- Interior is a little rough (cracked dash, rough seats, no radio)- No heater (note the Kerry Hunter Header)- Speedo cable is broken so I have no idea what the mileage is.- WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS CURRENTLY (El Paso county doesn´t require emissions testing so I could actually tag it here.
