Details: I´m looking to sell my 924S, ive had it for a little over 2 years, done a fair amount of work to it and the car runs like a champ. It has some minor body issues but nothing with the frame or drive train, only cosmetic. Like many 924´s and 944´s the odometer has stopped working, it can be fixed with a gear but I am too nervous to take the dash apart myself, it read 97k when I bought it and I haven´t driven it more than 5k at most. Here is a list of everything I have either done to this car myself or had done to it.Fixes:-New tires when I bought it-New Master and Slave Cylinders-Harness Bar-Weltmeister Strut Brace-Short Ram intake-New OEM clutch (the old one blew a month after I got the car)-Short Throw Shifter-Sony Xplod CD head unit-New spark plugs (Bosch Silver) and wires (performance)-High Performance Sylvania Headlights-New Pie Plate for hood release leverIssues:-Last I checked the windshield wiper had stopped working (could be just a fuse or more in depth, not quite sure)-The brake pads could probably use a changing but the car has no issues with stopping-There is a small oil seep on the right side of the engine, I´m not sure where its coming from exactly but oil stop leak makes it negligible.-Minor cosmetic issues with the body, could use a new paint job if a serious restoration was in mind, but looks good otherwise. (there is a large scratch on the back left panel, definitely needs some professional or experienced work)Other than that this car drives like a champ and is a blast to drive.The 931 wheels on there come with it but are not original, they work but rub on the fender since they are wider. I have the original rotary phone wheels with practically brand new tires on them. Both come with the car.Further, i have the title in hand, clean. Questions welcomed and the 2,750 (OBO) is what I´d like to get for it, especially since the KBB on it is 4,200 with no cosmetic issues. Apparently these are super expensive. They were on the car when I bought it. Some curb rash on one of the wheels.Engine exhaust sound is nice. You know this is a fast car, just by the sound of the engineTires are in decent shape.The Bad:Oil leak. I have not had this checked out, as I decided to not invest any more money into this car, and just sell it. I just add oil occasionally, to make sure it runs good.Has sunroof, but I cannot seem to find the mechanism to open it. Most likely it was covered when the headliner was replaced. Not sure.Does not have AC/Heat. Looks like previous owner felt this was just excessive weight, so it was removed at some point in time. I usually just drove the car in the spring and fall, so it did not bother me at all. Just rolled down the windows and enjoyed the sound of speed, and the blur of the landscape.Body does have some paint chips and paint blemishes, but overall looks great.This car has been garaged since I have owned it. I personally spent well over $12,000 in the last four years (~ $6,000 in the last year alone) in maintenance using the Porsche dealership or recognized Porsche specialist in the region. No doubt many more miles and years left in this car. Recently done maintenance worth $6,000 include oil change, coolant tank replacement, belts replaced, full transmission service, new front tires, alignment and some suspension work, etc., As it stands, tires and brakes are good. DMV tags good till 2013, and also passed state safety -- sticker good till 2013. The best car I ever drove period! Simply put, the car is addictive and once you drive a Porsche 911 you will know what I mean. Two reasons for selling my car at this time: three car seats cannot fit properly in this car; and selling now so I can justify buying a newer turbo model in few years. Finally, this car is an automatic, but it also has a tiptronics mode; meaning that you can actually shift up and down in gears but ´clutching´ is automatically done for you. If you like manuals, yes I´ve driven one too, tiptronics is fairly close in sense that you are more engaged with the car. I became a believer myself in few months; nothing like down shifting into 3rd gear in the freeway to quickly accelerate from 55 to XX mph. If you are not a half a mechanic. The worst of the problems it has is a very minor valve cover leak at the rear of the valve cover and it will need paint.
