The 996 series are known to have issues with the Itermediate Shaft Bearing, but there is an excellent aftermarket replacement that eliminates the issue. I had that done along with new chain ramps and some other small stuff. The work was properly performed and documented by renowned Porsche specialists Automobile Associates of Canton last summer 2011. Options include: leather sport seats, MO30 sport suspension, real nice stereo, 56,805 miles.
