Details: Still forsale. Rust free Southwest car. Bought this car in 1987 while living in Phoenix Az.Had my own VW shop...Rebuilt the 1800cc eng for the customer I bought the car from. Built a custom tow bar set up and brought it here to Vegas in ´93 Have not driven it more than 5K miles since purchased. Car is very stait except for damage I did trying to remove it from a friend´s back yard scraping the r/front fender and p/side door. I was so mad at me! Have another door. Have new front and rear blinker and taillight lenses. This car has done a lot of sitting over the years I´ve had it. Except for sun damage from sitting out-side, this car is very solid, strait, and rust free... really, good shape. It hasn´t run in many rears. I sold the baby webber carbs that were on it, thinking of putting the big ones on it. Didn´t happen. It still has the manifolds on it, though. These cars are getting rare and hard to find in decent shape. With a hi-horse power engine, these are hard to beat for performance driving (ie: the 914-6) The interior will need to be redone but is all there except for door panels that some Damn thief took, along with the door handles. I do have at least one more, with the new plastic actuatores that oftimes break. The electrical system is in great shape. This car has not been butchered or messed with. This is an excellent candidate for restoration, racing, or whatever your imagination would like it to be. Price is $1500 CASH! As Is. Hook´er up to your vehicle an´ take ´er home! Clear Nev title. This car is fast, solid and fun. Black on Black. Navigation, Bose system, sounds amazing. Nothing aftermarket except an ipod trunk dock controlled from factory stereo. This car has never been on a track, I´ve only put 3000 miles on it, I occasionally drive it to work but it´s mostly been a weekly date night car with my wife.
