Details: My car interests have taken another turn and I am selling my ´78 911SC. The car has 200,534 miles on the odometer which may sound like a lot but there are many SC´s running around with much higher mileage. Besides, the engine and transmission were rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. Here are the details:Chassis: The car was originally from Colorado where they do not use road salt and has not been driven in winter since being in Ohio. The Factory galvanized the chassis and all sheetmetal so there is no rust. The car was repainted (the original black) sometime before I purchased it and they did a pretty good job. There is a spot about 1´ long on the roof where the paint has cracked and lifted for some reason but other than that all the panels are straight and without any dings, dents, etc. The front valence has a splitter added which could be easily removed if desired. The rear sports an aftermarket fiberglass whaletail. I have found no evidence of any crash damage. Engine/Trans: The engine was completely rebuilt about 2000 miles ago with new bearings, gaskets/seals, Raceware rod bolts, wrist pin bushings, Euro pistons/cyls, valve guides, timing chains and ramps. The valves were ground, rods rebuilt and the STD/STD crank polished. The cams were upgraded to the ´964´ grind, 930 lower valve covers installed and the clutch replaced. The original Bosch CIS fuel injection was retained. There are zero miles on the valve adjustment, oil/filter and spark plugs. The transmission synchro rings were replaced as well as any worn dogs and sliders. Swepco gear oil was used. Interior: The carpets appear to be original and in good condition. The front seats are leather. The driver´s seat has a tear on the seat back. The passenger seat is good. The dash has a crack on the right side but it is not warped. The radio is a Pioneer AM/FM/ Cassette.Wheels/Tires/Brakes: The wheels are 16´ diameter ´Etoile´ brand that seem somewhat wider than stock but I can´t find any width stamped on them. The tires are 205/55ZR16 front/ 225/50ZR16 rear Dunlops with plenty of tread left. The front calipers were recently rebuilt. Thr brake pads are in good shape.
