New starter, fuel pump, ballast resistor, fuel-distributer inlet union, overhead oil rail, new gaskets(top end), head shaved 60 thousandths, new valve seals, 3 angle valve job, new head bolts, timing belt, sparkplugs, and wires. Black Leather Seats, Removable Top. Will run, but misses under a load. I haven´t started it in a while. I think with a new fuel distributor and distributor it will run good. The shaft in the fuel distributor sticks causing flooding, and the electronic distributor itself has 2 different size springs attached the the weights. I have heard that you can secure the weights so that they don´t move and it will work just fine. I have not tried. You also may be able to work with the fuel disributor and get the shaft to not stick. This Porsche was given to me by my father and shipped from California. I would not be selling, but i have other projects that i need to work on. She needs a good home. Details: Up for sale is my 1986 944 Turbo, also known as a 951. I currently have two 944 Turbos, but want to take on a project of another flavor so I have decided to sell one of them. Details on the car:Exterior - Graphite Gray - Decent shape, shows age in some spots, but as seen the pictures she shines up well and looks good from 20ft. Interior - Black - The black carpet has faded a bit, and the seats were recovered in a very dark blue (I have a set of black seats I could sell with the car, but they are not in as good of shape, so I would suggest taking the blue ones)Mileage - Unknown, I have some records for the car, but exact mileage is a bit of a guessEngine - Runs well, boost builds as it should, even compression across all 4 cyl, MSD ignition upgradeSuspension - A bit soft, but everything work, no strange noises or vibrations (I have a sport suspension I could install in the car for a little extra $$$, it is M474 Koni Yellow setup w/ sport springs for the front)Wheels - MSW Wheels, raw aluminum with a polished lip. Fresh tires at all 4 cornersI have owned 9 of these cars over the years so I have grown to know them quite well, and while this car may have some cosmetic issues, she is a solid mechanical example I am confident to drive every day. If the buyer wanted to throw a little money at the paintwork, and interior you could have a very nice 951, or do what I did, and enjoy her exactly as she sits.
