Details: ***LAST CHANGE TO BUY AT DEALER TRADE IN PRICE*** I´m heading to the dealer on Sunday afternoon (due to snow it got moved to Thursday) to trade in the porsche for $11,400 but I´d much rather let someone have a great deal than let a dealer make a profit. Awesome Porsche in very good condition with tons of upgrades and extras. This was my project car over the past two years but more kids (3 now) means it needs to be replaced with a sensible car that can strap car seats into the back. I started with a 2001 base model boxster and mated it with a european spec 3.2L motor with low mileage. The local Porsche dealer did the EU computer flash and initial motor startup to make everything perfect. Next I added a top of the line stainless performance exhaust for great sound and a few extra Hp, a set of 911 front brake calipers and rotors, performance rear rotors and pads and new tires. This car has the performance of a 911 and handles even better. Leather interior, CD player, power top windows and locks, climate control and all the goodies. The convertible top is in excellent condition and I´m putting a new window in Saturday. Details: 1981 Porsche 928, odo shows 128k, the back story on this is that it had a shifter issue and was parked, it looks like someone has been under the dash and in the wiring for what reason i have no idea, maybe a stereo? the harness, ecu etc is all there. when you turn the key on every thing comes on but when you try to start it you just get a click under the dash, nothing under the hood. interior is all there but will need some attention to be nice, despite the bad paint the body is pretty straight. it does have some kind of aftermarket front bumper (imo, yuck) does not look to have any rust issues. the shifter assy is missing but the rod that it hooks to seems to go thru all the gears correctly. this car does have a complete matching set of real bbs rs 3pc wheels on it, they need some refinishing but do not appear to be beat up!
