All mechanical work was done by Precision Performance in Campbell CA at a cost of over $6000 just for the drive train swap, it runs great and does not use oil and no leaks.17´ Turbo Twist wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires 235/45/17 in front and 255/40Z R17 in the rear and have 80% treat on them. I installed a black interior with 993 Power Seats, Kenwood AMFM CD stereo with Bluetooth, alarm with key-less entry and power windows. Dash is like new no crack at all very rare in a 36 year old car, new black carpet and floor mats. The Targa top is black canvas instead of the normal vinyl material that tends to crack so it looks more like a standard convertible top, I have not seen another like it but it is very nice. I replaced the carpet in the trunk as well and it has all the stock tools and also comes with a car cover and original manuals.I have had this car for three years and after changing the interior to black and doing other minor things to the car I competed in the PCA wash and shine category for two years, the first year I only competed three or four times but placed second at worse, in 2009 I took the years overall first place so when I say the car is clean I mean it is ready to take and show and even compete and win if you are a PCA member.The car is always garaged and has been since I owned it and the previous owner, the car is a dream to drive handles like on rails and turns head everywhere you go, it is just stunning and really needs nothingYou can buy another 75 and fix it up yourself but to create one like this it would cost a lot more than what I am asking for sure. Details: This is a nice 2001 Porsche Boxster. It is very clean, and now has a new bra, all the better to weather the winter. The car was recently serviced by Griffin Motorwerke in Berkeley. In spite of having 141K miles, the engine was found to have solid compression, and the car runs smooth and fast. The 5 speed gearbox is quiet and shifts smoothly with no grinding in any gear. This is a very easy and forgiving car to drive. I have just replaced the climate control unit, and the screen display is once again legible. I have also just addressed issues with the drivers door pull, replacing the entire door panel assembly. The rear window is clouded and needs buffing out or replacement. This car has never let me down and has been a joy to drive. The heat blows hot and the AC blows cold. The cabin is tight against the elements, no leaks anywhere. The body is straight, with minor sand and rock chipping on the front bumper and hood.
