Details: I have my beloved 1976 Porsche 912E that I would like to trade for another porsche. Only interested in 911, 912, or 356. Older or newer, just like the Pcars! This 1976 is a prime example of a well taken care of car that has been passed down through an original porsche mechanic family. I even have hand written service records from the 70´s for this. It runs great and I drive it around every other day or so since it is just too fun to not drive it in the canyons. You can drive it and enjoy it as is in an unrestored condition like I have been doing. It has a few spots on paint and needs paint job but that adds so much more character to it most people tell me to not touch it and leave it as is. Interior needs refurbishing as I have seat covers on original front seats and all. Motor does not need anything and runs strong. Overall it is perfectly fine to drive around and hold onto while the value continues to climb on these. A few years down the road though, this baby resorted will bring in some major compliments and demand a premium. Have not put carbs on it or anything so original fuel system and all. I would rather trade for another Porsche then sell as I mentioned before. If you have a 356, other 912, or 911 let me know I can add a few thousand if condition or value warrants. The ´S´ model has increased horsepower and a six-speed transmission along with suspension and wheel upgrades. This is an extraordinarily clean, low mileage example of this fantastic car. With 295 horsepower and a six speed manual transmission it puts fun into the ordinary drive. It is for sale because frankly I am too big for the car. If you are 6´ 1´ and 250 pounds you to will be snug in an all leather interior with CD/AM/FM, PSM (Porsche traction control) and cruise control. The exterior color I believe is called slate gray metallic. Of course the AC blows cold air and the brakes have the standard drilled rotors. It also has the Porsche embroidered carpet pads. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 235/40 ZR 18 on the front and 265/40 ZR 18 rear. The fronts have about 7/32 tread and the rear 4/32 tread. The tires new come with 8.5/32 tread. It just passed smog like a champ! I am listing the car at a realistic price to move it fast. I don´t believe that it will last long at this price.
