If you know how to work on Porsche´s then come take this off my hands. Its a little too complicated for me. (I´m used to my Jeep and Honda). I drove it to my House about a year ago, so the motor runs as far as I know.I have S4 style fenders and front bumper, new headlight assembly, and 3 boxes of random, but organized, nuts and bolts for it. I have the hood but it has a bow in it, I was told it´s probably easier to just buy a new one. The previous owner, wrecked the car, you can see the damage in the pictures. (Yes it is an 83 I just think the S4 style front end looks better than the S style)If you know anything about these, you know the parts are expensive. The fenders were $800 a piece, and the bumper itself was $400. I´m really just trying to get some of my money back and not just have this collect dust.$4000 OBO -- for everything I have for it.Willing to hear what trades you have. CJ or TJ style Jeeps or any Jeep really. 50´s era Chevy / Ford Trucks. Diesel trucks. Nissan Hard Body, Toyota Tacoma. Even VW vans. I´m willing to hear them.Email me your number if you want to talk or text.More Pictures on Photobucket. - http://photobucket.com/my928forsale Location: East Wichitait´s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

| | 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 | PRICE: $28,000.00 EMAIL: sales [ at ] automotiveads.com Date Added: 2012-03-19 12:38:48 State: Wichita, Kansas Location: NE Wichita Details: Summary: Excellent condition 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 2, 6 speed manual, 82,000 miles, very clean, $28,000 OBO.For basic equipment my 911 features power locks, keyless entry and trunk release, power windows with one-touch up/down, ice cold A/C, cruise control, front and side airbags, power mirrors, heated washer nozzles, power recline, and automatic climate control. Optional equipment includes Litronic HID lighting, aluminum shift knob and e-brake handle, Porsche crest embossed headrests, 18´ Sport Classic three piece wheels, Porsche Stability Management (PSM) stability and traction control, factory GPS navigation with disc, full on-board computer, moonroof, Alcantra suede headliner, rear wiper, locking lug nuts, and Bose audio that sounds great. It also has Weathertech front custom-fit floor mats to protect the carpet, and I added Bumperplugs brand painted plugs to the front bumper to fill in the license plate holes. There were a number of changes to the 996 in 2002 that make them significantly more desirable than the earlier models. Often referred to as the mk2 or 996.2, changes were extensive but still subtle. The engine displacement increased to from 3.4 to 3.6 L displacement, increasing HP from 300 to 320 but more noticeably moving the torque peak lower in the RPM range for better response around town. On the outside the headlights are the same as the 996 turbo to better differentiate the 996 from the Boxster, the front and rear bumpers are reshaped with a lower ´lip´ style for a more aggressive look as well as better cooling and less lift at speed, the rear bumperettes are body color, and the ugly orange reflectors in the headlights/side markers/tails are finally gone, replaced with smoked clear lenses. Underneath the body has been reinforced for increased torsional rigidity and the track increased front and rear, increasing responsiveness as well as stability. Inside the improvements are even more dramatic with improved materials on every surface, contrasting color French stiching, a three spoke sport wheel as standard equipment, a dual cupholder that actually works, aluminum accents, and a glovebox. I´ve owned three early 996s and can confidently say that the 996.2 is a better car in nearly every way. It´s much more usable around town due to the increased torque at lower RPM, and the interior is finally befitting a Porsche. It is finally a nice place to spend time. The overall condition of my 911 is excellent. As I was told by a PCA member who owns a Porsche Cayman S, ´it looks like a new one´. The interior is nearly perfect with no smoking or pets, the driver´s seat leather has very slight wear, the passenger seat and rears are like new, there are no stains on the carpet or floormats, and no cracks in the plastic panels. The leather is still soft and supple, recently cleaned with Leatherique. Everything works exactly as it should. The paint has a fantastic shine (recent clay bar and 4 coats of Zaino wax), there is no rust, and the body is very straight. Inside and out it is a very nice car that belies its age and mileage.Mechanically the 911 is excellent as well, it runs and drives just like new. The 6-speed manual transmission shifts smooth with no grinding and the clutch shows zero sign of slipping. The 3.6 L flat-6 motor idles smoothly and pulls hard even from low RPMs, making that legendary Porsche sound in the process. The 2003 Carrera 2 is rated at 320 HP and tested 0-60 at 4.6 -- 4.9 seconds (depending on tester), mine feels every bit that strong. There is no oil consumption and I´ve never had to add any fluids. The car tracks perfectly straight on the highway with no vibration or pulling. Tires are Pirelli P-Zeros with probably 30% tread remaining. The brakes are smooth with no vibration, providing incredible stopping power and great feel. Despite the car only having 82,000 miles all of the 90,000 mile maintenance has been completed, which includes spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter, serpentine belt, and brake/clutch bleed (with ATE Super Blue), and transaxle fluid (replaced with Royal Purple). Other maintenance includes a new ignition switch (common failure), new light switch (common failure), new wiper blades, and a new rear hood strut. Partial service history from past owners, sold as a Porsche CPO car at 59,000 miles. This has been a very reliable car and all maintenance and repairs are taken care of, I would and do drive it anywhere at a moment´s notice. In fact I just got back from a weekend in Kansas City with my wife, it´s a great car for a weekend away with your significant other.Over the years I have owned cars from legendary makers such as Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Saab, and Cadillac. This is also my fourth 996, and all four have been without a doubt the best cars that I´ve ever owned. It manages to be both a hardcore sports car and a comfortable daily driver, quite frankly it does everything well. Very few cars can both entertain you on a twisty backroad and comfortably transport you to work, this is an attribute that makes Porsches unique. With ice-cold A/C, comfy seats, back seats that are perfect for kids (mine love them), cruise control, more trunk space than you´d expect, and 25 MPG on the highway, this 911 has served me well as a very fun and reliable daily driver. As with most used cars, my 911 is not perfect. I am incredibly picky about cars, here are the faults that I am aware of from the perspective of an anal-retentive engineer enthusiast. Note that most of these are subtle enough that they won´t be noticed without my pointing them out, from a few feet away this car looks perfect. I believe in providing full-disclosure when selling a vehicle, I want to treat others as I hope to be treated.- The front bumper has been repainted. The previous owner swerved to avoid a swerving drunk driver and hit a small highway side marker causing minor front end damage. There was no damage to the front suspension, radiators, or other key parts. Overall the paint match is VERY good, as is the quality. The only flaws that I can see are very small clearcoat flaws near the headlight gaskets. On the upside, there are almost zero rock chips on the front bumper.- Two small scuffs in the drivers headlight lens.- Very light scratches on the LH door panel near the grab handle, likely from fingers.- Very light leather wear on the driver´s bolster. These seats wouldn´t look out of place in a nearly new low mileage car.- Small ding on the LH rear, small scratches on the LH rear bumper, small scuff on the front bumper, small scratches in the RH door. I´ve tried to capture all in photos but they´re very subtle.- Only one keyfob included, it works great.- Very light clearcoat chipping on the wheel outer lips, very light scrapes on two outer lips. No other scratches, chips, curbing, etc.- Very small oil seep from the engine/transaxle mating seam. It is so small that I have never had a single drip on my garage floor.- Rear floor mats are bunched up on the edges from the front seat pinching them (common), otherwise they are clean and in good shape.- Door sill plastic trim on each side has some scuffing from entry/egress. Again, this is from the perspective of a very anal-retentive engineer owner and a serious car enthusiast. My 911 is in overall amazing condition, far better than most cars of similar age and mileage. It´s one of the few cars I´ve had that has earned compliments at gas stations, in parking lots, at drive-through windows, etc. This is an incredible car, and only needs a new owner to enjoy it. I am asking $28,000 OBO, well under retail pricing for similar equipped 911s and one of the cheaper late body style 996s out there. Don´t buy an unknown car for more money at a dealership then spend thousands in maintenance, I have sorted all of the issues and completed all required maintenance ahead of schedule. I have 135 pictures available via email as well as an Excel file summarizing maintenance, clean KS title in hand and ready to sell (no liens). I can be reached at 316-680-1748 or jessup3 at cox.net. Another note, I´m planning to take a small amount of the sale proceeds to purchase a cheap daily driver, my current Land Rover Disco isn´t exactly great on gas. I´d be willing to accept trades, preferably $10k value or less, for a well maintained car of interest. Porsche trades considered are a 986, 944S or S2, 968, or older 911. I´d also consider a 2000+ XJR, E55 AMG, 540i sport, M3, M5, RX8, and maybe others if they´re fun to drive and interesting. Obviously cash in addition to your trade will be required.
