Details: Porsche is all original 122K, bought from my co-worker whom has owned Porsches for long time. The vehicle has new battery, complete redone interior seats are perfect. Has had all vaccumme hoses replaced and new hi-perfomance fuel pump installed all fuel pressures checked good, new timming belt has also been installed. The body has no dents, does have some scratches not bad, however they are there (my fault). The tires were like new has been sitting about a year now, the vehicle did run but cant seem to start engine, not locked may be solinoid or something similar?? Details: I have a 1984 Porsche 944, the car has been sitting for three years because the timming belt broke ( confirmed by ASE certified mechanic ) and due to health issues I must part with it. When running, the car is extremely quick, manual 5 speed. Would be willing to entertain all reasonable offers, may trade for ??? Feel free to call or text three 0 four 615 three one 88.After some research I´ve learned this year Porsche has an interference engine, which can mean valve damage when the camshaft belt breaks while the car is running. I bought the car from my sister-in law, and she states the belt broke while sitting in the driveway, and i,ve also learned that if the car would have been driving 60 mph when the belt broke, it´s more likely to have valve damage. but, since it broke at idle speed, it´s likely minimal damage if any at all. Just want everyone to know worst case scenerio. The sun has cracked the dash, and the top of the back seat, it´s not a cream-puff by any means, but, still worth repairing. I´m lowering the price to $ 1500 I think this is a fair price, so that´s bottom dollar. May trade for nice 4wheeler, things that go bang, no junk please. Everything i have replaced was at 101xxx miles which include: new head and valves, all new belts, all new pullies, water pump, head gasket, crankshaft position sensor, damper plate, and transmission cooling lines. These were all done 101xxx miles. Car has a silver front valance but the rest of the car is maroon. it is an automatic 944. The car has a little dent on the passenger fender from someone hitting me.
